One key, two protocols

ColdPegion is API-native: the REST API at /api/v1 exposes the exact same operations as the MCP server — list and launch agents, import leads, push per-lead emails, read replies and deliverability, manage your team. The cp_live_ key you create in Dashboard → Connect to Claude authenticates both.

Built to industry standards

• Bearer auth with scoped keys (read / write), stored hashed, revocable instantly.
• 120 requests/min per key with X-RateLimit-* headers and Retry-After on 429.
• Consistent envelope: { data, request_id } on success, typed errors ({ error: { type, message, param } }) on failure.
• Idempotency-Key header on mutating requests for safe retries.
• Versioned under /v1 — breaking changes ship as /v2, never silently.

For AI agents and tooling

The reference is machine-readable three ways: /docs/api.md serves the whole reference as one markdown document (drop it into any LLM's context), /api/v1/openapi.json is an OpenAPI 3.1 spec for codegen and Postman, and /llms.txt maps the site for AI agents.
