HubSpot contact lists and email BCC logging
Import a CRM contact list into a draft and optionally log outgoing email activity.
Connect HubSpot
- 1Open Settings → HubSpot. Choose Connect with HubSpot when OAuth is available. If one-click setup is still pending, use the private app token option.
- 2For a private app, grant crm.objects.contacts.read and crm.lists.read. Paste the access token and save. The token is checked before it is encrypted and stored.
Import a list
- 1Open a draft campaign’s audience section → Import a HubSpot list.
- 2Search for the list, select it, and import up to 100 contacts per batch. Continue while more contacts are available.
- 3Duplicates, invalid addresses and HubSpot global email opt-outs are skipped. Existing local do-not-contact flags are never cleared. Import is a snapshot, so reimport when membership or opt-outs change.
Importing contacts never launches the campaign or sends email.
Log outgoing emails with BCC
BCC logging works without an API token. It copies message content and attachments to HubSpot. Warmup and transactional account emails are excluded. The sender must be recognized by HubSpot as a user, connected email or alias. BCC logs activity; it does not track opens or clicks.
- 1Copy your BCC address from HubSpot’s Email Log & Track settings.
- 2Paste the numeric @bcc.hubspot.com address in Settings → HubSpot and explicitly enable outgoing email logging.
- 3Save the settings. The BCC address applies to your outgoing campaign emails, test messages and manual inbox replies.
