Getting started

Connect email accounts (Gmail, SMTP, Resend)

Add sending mailboxes, set daily limits, and understand account health.

Gmail (app password)

  1. 1In your Google account, enable 2-Step Verification (required for app passwords).
  2. 2Visit Google Account → Security → App passwords and generate a 16-character app password.
  3. 3In Dashboard → Email Accounts → Add account, choose Gmail and paste the app password — not your normal password.

If you see “Invalid credentials”, the app password was mistyped (spaces don't matter) or 2-Step Verification isn't enabled.

Any SMTP provider

Choose SMTP and enter host, port, username, and password from your provider (Outlook/Office 365, Zoho, SendGrid, Mailgun, your own server). Use port 587 with STARTTLS unless your provider says otherwise.

Resend

Choose Resend and paste an API key from resend.com. Sending then goes through Resend's API with delivery webhooks feeding your stats automatically.

Daily limits and rotation

  • Each account has its own daily sending limit — start low (20–30/day) for new mailboxes and raise it gradually as warmup progresses.
  • Connect several mailboxes and campaigns rotate across them automatically, multiplying safe volume.
  • Your plan caps total daily sends across the org (Free 50, Starter 500, Pro 5,000).

Account health

Each account shows a status: Connected, Warming up, Active, or Error. An Error status usually means credentials changed or the provider blocked a sign-in — re-enter credentials to fix it.

Still stuck? Ask an AI that can actually fix it.

Open the Sidekick in your dashboard — it has these guides built in and can inspect and fix your account directly.

Or ask Claude with the MCP connector — same guides, same tools, from any Claude app.
