Getting started
Your first ColdPegion campaign: a draft-first setup guide

The first milestone is a campaign you understand well enough to review, not a large send count.
Write a brief you can inspect
Start with your website or a short description of what you sell. Name the audience, relevant problem, concrete offer and one low-friction next step. A website preview can suggest a brief, but review extracted facts before using them in copy.
Keep the offer small enough to fulfill. A short walkthrough, a useful resource or a relevant question can be easier to evaluate than a promise of results. Do not add discounts, deadlines, prices or performance claims that your team has not established. A campaign should describe an offer that actually exists.
Build a small eligible audience
Choose contacts whose company context connects to the offer. Record the source and a factual observation for each. Deduplicate, respect DNC and suppression records, and inspect earlier conversations. A prior reply can change whether new outreach makes sense.
For a verified-only campaign, require a conclusive valid result with mailbox evidence. Domain MX checks and published addresses are insufficient. Hold unknown, catch-all and risky records outside the sending audience even when the rest of the company research is useful. Keep research and sending eligibility as separate decisions.
Connect a sender and prepare messages
Use the supported mailbox connection flow and inspect its state. Select a truthful sender, available daily capacity, weekdays, time window and timezone. The free capacity calculator helps estimate minimum sending days; it does not configure or launch a campaign.
Prepare a different subject and body for each person from the actual notes. Include a clear invitation and opt-out. If an MCP client writes the messages, check that real tool calls saved the intended drafts. The assistant’s narrative is not evidence that the records exist in the workspace.
Review and learn
Follow the campaign’s chosen review mode and required approval steps. Read every recipient and exact message, including links and attachments. Resolve verification, sender and schedule blockers before launch. Selecting a review mode should be a deliberate operating choice.
A draft, approved message, queued email and actual send are different states. Inspect campaign activity after launch, monitor replies and apply opt-outs through suppression tools. Count interest only after reading the conversation. Learn from the small pilot and change one part of the workflow before expanding to a larger audience.
